Precautions to take.
- Aquamid injectable implants
may only be administered by a qualified physician and/or nurse.
- Aquamid injectable implants
must only be injected subcutaneously.
- Never inject Aquamid
intravascularly, intradermally or intramuscularly.
- Correct injection technique
is crucial to the final result of the treatment.
- Aquamid is provided sterile.
If packaging is opened or damaged, the product must not be used.
- After treatment, never
attempt to store unused hydrogel, or attempt to re-sterilize it.
Using previously opened hydrogel, even on the same patient,
should strongly be avoided due to infection risk.
Physician and patient must sign
a consent form prior to injection and is supplied with the
product.
